4. What Are the Required Documents for Social Allowance (for Kuwaitis and Children of Kuwaiti Mothers)?

For Kuwaiti Students:

1. Valid civil ID copy.
2. Certificate from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor confirming the student does not receive assistance (via Sahel app).
3. Certificate from the Public Institution for Social Security showing the student is not registered (via Sahel app).
4. Bank-stamped salary transfer form with full IBAN.
5. "To Whom It May Concern" certificate for the social allowance application.
6. For new students with a prior allowance record, a detailed certificate from their previous university or college.
7. For married students, additional documents are required: marriage contract, proof of marriage continuity, and valid civil ID copy of the spouse.

For Children of Kuwaiti Mothers:

1. Valid civil ID copy.
2. Certificate from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor confirming no assistance (via Sahel app).
3. Certificate from the Public Authority for Manpower under the student's name, not the mother's (via Sahel app).
4. Bank-stamped salary transfer form with full IBAN.
5. "To Whom It May Concern" certificate for the social allowance application.
6. Valid civil ID copy of the mother.
7. Mother's nationality copy.
8. Student's birth certificate copy.
9. For new students with a prior allowance record, a detailed certificate from their previous university or college.

For Students with Disabilities:
In addition to the above, attach a disability certificate from the Higher Council for Disabilities. A social security certificate is not required.

5. What Are the Required Documents for the Student Fund?

• Copy of the student's schedule.
• Proof of student or family financial obligations, if any.
• Semester results (unofficial transcript).
• Valid civil ID copy.
• Rental contract or latest receipt.
• Recent salary certificate of the family's breadwinner.

Eligibility Requirements for the Student Fund:

1. GPA of 2.0 or above.
2. Completion of 16 credit hours.
   
3. No external financial support.
4. Must be enrolled for the current semester.
   

6. How to Register for the Student Fund?

Apply through the SIS system by selecting the financial aid request and meeting the conditions above.

7. When Does the Student Fund Application Open?

Typically, mid-semester, announced through social media.​
