AOU Financial Aid & Scholarships
The Arab Open University is committed to enable students to receive high-quality education by providing exceptional educational opportunities. Additionally, it helps students overcome all obstacles that may prevent them from completing their education, especially financial challenges faced by some students. The university has established a Student Fund, which provides annual support to many students, as well as scholarships for employees and academically outstanding students. Furthermore, the university actively collaborates with many charitable organizations in Kuwait that provide financial aid to students.

Student fund
Since its inception in Kuwait, the Arab Open University has established a Student Fund that provides annual financial support to assist students in completing their studies at the university.
Eligible students for the fund.
- The student must pass at least 16 credit hours.
- The student's GPA must be 2.0 or higher
- The student must not receive or be under any other scholarship.
- The student is enrolled to the semester during which he applies to the scholarship.
- Financial support is available only for newly registered courses and does not cover any repeated courses.
Submission process:
Applications for a student fund grant at the university are submitted online through the Student Information System (SIS). The student selects 'Grant Application' from the services list and completes the application.

Scholarship for AOU Employees and Their Family Members
The university provides several benefits for AOU employees, including scholarships. The first family member receives a full scholarship, while the second family member is eligible for a partial scholarship covering up to 50%.

Top student scholarship.
AOU provides financial support to its top students each semester across all programs and levels. Three students from each program.
4.
Charities
AOU in Kuwait provides help and support to charities that offer student financial aid by facilitating the registration procedures for the students receiving support from these charities.
