Activities that FCS program conduct every academic year:
A·
Programming activities:
1- At the end of fall semester, Individual Competitive Programming Contest held for Arab Open University students.
2- At the end of spring semester, Teams Programming Contest (AOUCPC) held for the students of the Arab Open University, where teams (each team consists of three members) are formed. The top teams are qualified for Kuwait Collegiate Programming Contest (KCPC), which is held usually at the beginning of fall semester.
3- The winning teams from KCPC are qualified for ACPC, Arab Collegiate Programming Contest (formerly) and currently called Africa and Arab Collegiate Programming Championship.
4- During Spring semester, Gulf Programming Contest (GPC) held where many institutions from Gulf countries participated. The best AOU teams selected to participate in it.
5- Weekly online contests held to train students.
6- Weekly sessions held to improve the level of students. Sometimes distinguished and outstanding students help in the training.

7- ACPC Club, which is supervised by ITC program, includes all students interested in competitive programming contests.
B·
Students development day (ITCSDD)
ITCSDD is an annual development and activities day for AOU ITC students. During The day consists of different sessions, contests and presentations in many areas that could be interested for our students including: up to date IT topics, advising, self-development, time management, planning etc.
Sessions are presented by IT staffs, senior students and some specialists from outside the university.
ITCSDD occurred yearly every second semester.
C. Graduation exhibition
The activity aims to present the graduation projects applications and products of ITC students in order to focus on students' achievements, encourage other ITC students to follow their colleagues, and present to other students of other majors what they have done, the exhibition took place yearly every second semester.
