Dr. Yusuf is assistant professor in the faculty of business studies at Arab Open University-Kuwait. He recieved his Bachelor and Master's degrees in Banking and Finance from the Yarmouk University-Jordan. He also holds a PhD degree in Accounting and Finance from the New England University- NSW, Australia. His research interest is related to the areas of Small Business Finance, Managerial Finance and Financial Analysis, and is currently reseaching more on the capital structures of industrial firms. His publications have appeared in several different international journals including the Research Journal of Accounting and Finance, International Journal of Economics and Financial Issues among others.
Throughout his career, he has taught many different courses at the undergraduate level including:

Analysis; Micro-finance; Risk Management in Small Business; Financial Analysis and Reporting; Investment and Portfolio
Management; Mathematics
for Business; Principles of Finance 1 and 2; Financial
Markets and Institutions; Financial Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting; Managerial Accounting; and also some business courses more recently.
At the Graduate level, he has taught courses such as International Finance and Advanced Financial Accounting.
