Dr. Abdullah Alshaheen earned a PhD in Business Management from the University of Brighton in 2021. His doctoral research, titled “Influence of National Culture on Organisational Culture, Organisational Structure, and Customer Satisfaction – A Case of Kuwait Banking Sector,” delves into cultural impacts within organizational frameworks. Previously, he completed an MSc in Business Management, focusing on cultural influences on banking structures in the UK and Kuwait.
From 2019 to 2020, Dr. Abdullah Alshaheen served as a University Lecturer at the University of Brighton, teaching courses like International Business Project and Enterprise Project and Skills. These classes equipped first-year students with essential business, teamwork, and presentation skills, incorporating digital artifact creation such as websites and viral marketing videos. The role enriched his pedagogical approach and adaptability, notably transitioning from in-class to online teaching due to the pandemic.
Additionally, he acted as a Course Representative for MSc students from 2015 to 2016, supporting student engagement and fostering communication between students and faculty. His experiences in academia have been instrumental in shaping his research interests, which focus on the intersection of culture, organizational structure, and customer satisfaction within the banking industry.
