AOU Celebrates Founding Day Under the Theme “Women's Empowerment" – Kuwait
The Arab Open University in Kuwait marked Founders' Day in honor of Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz, highlighting his legacy in promoting women's education. During the event, President Dr. Salah Al-Hammadi reaffirmed that women's empowerment was a core element of the founder's vision. Ms. Sara Al-Sabah emphasized that empowering women is a national and strategic priority, while Dr. Manal Al-Dihani noted that women make up about 62% of the university's graduates—reflecting the university's success in supporting women's participation in higher education. Writer Iqbal Al-Ahmad also highlighted the university's longstanding role in empowering women and preparing them for the future.
