Nour Dakkak is Assistant Professor of English
Literature at the Arab Open University, Kuwait. She received her PhD from
Lancaster University in 2018, and her research interests include landscape writing
and early twentieth-century literature and culture. She is the author of E. M. Forster's Material Humanism: Queer Matters (Routledge 2023), and the co-editor of Sandscapes: Writing the British Seaside (Palgrave 2020) with Jo Carruthers, and Anticipatory Materialisms in Literature and Philosophy, 1790-1930 with Jo Carruthers and Rebecca Spence (Plagrave 2020). She has also published several papers on walking and mobilities in the works of E. M. Forster and D. H. Lawrence.
