Language and Literature. My main activities at the time were organizing panel
discussions, poetry recitals, translating, and editing materials for the
university’s periodical.

Lecturer of English literature at Azad University, Bojnourd, Iran. My
students were all middle school teachers completing their B.A. degrees. The
course I taught for two terms was An Introduction to the World Literary
Classics, and the materials used included some literary masterpieces from
different periods to introduce different literary schools and genres.
1994-2001
Associate Lecturer of English Literature and Translation at the Azad
University, Quchan, Iran. My students were B.A. students majoring in English
Teaching, English Language and Literature, and Translation. During these seven
years, I taught many courses on language arts, literature, and translation. I,
moreover, translated three books, three essays, and a number of short stories
and poems from English into Farsi. I was also in charge of the students’ weekly
panel discussions and weekly movie nights, where we showed a movie and
discussed it in details.
