ICU unit - Information & Communication Unit - e-Services Systems
The University will provide a number of computer labs, and other equipment, which will help students carry out some special learning activities, and acquire or enhance the required and relevant computer skills.
In support of the KWB mission, the Information Technology Center promotes, develops, delivers, and facilitates the use of information technology services and resources.
ICU is the provider of central information technology services to KWB. The primary areas of responsibilities are:
- Developments of the major application systems including the students information system and the learning management system.
- The campus wide data networks in the main branch and the regional centers.
- Information Security.
- The campus telephone, fax, and IVR systems.
- The university-wide administrative software system.
- Web infrastructure.
- The student computing laboratories in the main branch and the regional centers.
- Equipment in campus classrooms.
- The campus information technology Help Desk.
- The campus network and hardware maintenance group.
