Student Advising & Orientation
The purpose of the University's orientation program is to enable students to understand the methods and requirements of managed tutored distance learning around which open learning at the AOU revolves. This includes, inter alia, advising support which aims to help students make the right decision concerning the program they seek admission to and the courses they need to register for. Thus, the student's academic background is examined together with the requirements of the program concerned so that advising can be both practical and fruitful.
