AOU Headquarters
The AOU Headquarters (P.O. Box 3322, Al-Safat 13033, www.arabou.org ) is located in Kuwait. The main function of the headquarters is to maintain central services and assure quality and consistency in all academic aspects across the branches. The headquarter hosts the academic deanships, learning resources, quality assurance and accreditation units, examinations department, research and development office, student affairs, admission and registration, finance department, archives, procurement and purchasing, and human resource offices.
The headquarters facilitates through regular boards meetings, partnership conferences, workshops, and training seminars the consistency in program delivery as well as the various administrative and academic operational frameworks across the different branches and regional centers in the Arab countries. In short, the headquarters governs every aspect of the University operations from admission to graduation, in a centralized manner with ample room for flexibility to cope with differences in the educational systems in the hosting countries.
